UTHEALTH Summer 2020

Hello all,

I am wanting to apply to UTHEALTH for Summer 2020 and fall 2019. I will be coming from out of state. This semester I am taking Stats and texas government and taking the HESI. In the Spring, I will take Mirco lab. I will have about a 3.2-3.3 overall GPA by the time I apply. Has anyone gotten accepted with this GPA before?

I just checked my application again and it said accepted! So I’m guessing they are doing it in waves cause I checked yesterday and all day today and it just changed tonight. So do not stress yet because they are still changing ? y’all are all amazing candidates!!

Either today or yesterday, it changed to “resident”

Hello! I have been lurking for a longgg while and this is my first post/comment. I've been pretty bummed since yesterday because I previously knew that UThealth only does one wave of acceptances but maybe due to our current situation of having everything online... they're doing it in multiples waves now. (Also, I thought that they mainly do email from what I have read on past forums.) I just checked at exactly 12:38 AM AND I GOT IN! My theory is they're doing it alphabetically since my last name starts with an R or maybe it's because I applied really late like a week before the actual deadline. Anyway, please don't lose hope. Y'all got this!

Mine is still under review, but I also have an application for Fall so we'll see. CONGRATS again to everyone so far!

Has anyone received an Email or acceptance letter in the mail yet? Also, do we have to pay a deposit fee? My account balance is showing $0 at the moment.
