UTH Cizik School of Nursing BSN Pacesetter- Spring 2020

I thought I'd start this feed now. I applied in January. I know I'm early but I'm not much of a procrastinator. I just retook my Hesi and got a 89.2.. I feel I need to take it over but, some people are saying they don't even know UT's selection process. Can anyone enlighten me on that?

Hi guys! I'm a little late to the thread but I received my transcript evaluation yesterday! I honestly can't remember exactly when i applied.

hey, so i just looked through my emails to see when i applied and i think it was towards the end of June, and i probably sent in my transcripts around that, I got my course evaluation sheet yesterday!

Hey guys i was looking through this thread I’m thinking of applying to uth for summer 2020 but I’ve taken the hesi 2 times at lone star and once at san jac all in the same year. Can I still apply?? Any answers will be helpful thanks.

When I went to the info session they said they would only take 2 attempts and the score they use would be your 2nd test even if your first score was better ? So yes i believe you could still apply but you will have to submit the score from the 2nd exam you took. You could always call the admissions office to confirm as well!

So has everyone received their transcript evaluations already? I sent my transcripts a while ago and they don't show up on my to-do list, yet I have not received my evaluations yet.

Haven't gotten one either, and honestly not everyone gets one even though they claim it's part of what we pay for in the application fee ?

That's unfortunate, it freaks me out because I think I did something wrong. I guess as long as our to-do list is clear, we should be fine. I hope?

Have you completed all your pre req courses? Maybe they only send an evaluation when you are missing or still in progress of some courses, I got my evaluation and i'm still completing some classes.

It's frustrating for sure, but yes if your list was clear then you should be fine!

Whether or not you are still in courses does not effect whether you get an evaluation or not. It's pretty random just like the admissions process seems to be ?
