Have any of you heard of or had a patient with a lipoma in the uterus? The reason I ask is I had a hysterectomy last month. They originally thought I had a fibroid, but pathology stated it was a fatty tumor called a lipomatous. From what I have been reading it appears to be rare.

You really need to discuss this with your treating physician. As per the terms of service of this site that we all agreed to when we signed up: "12. You agree NOT to seek medical or legal advice.
13. You agree NOT to offer medical or legal advice.
[h=3]Medical Advice:[/h] ALLNURSES.COM, INC or it's members do not offer medical advice. Any requests for such will be taken down. If you have a medical problem, please seek attention from your health care provider. You are not allowed to ask for medical advice related to a health situation that affects you, a family member, or someone you know." Terms of Service for Nurses | Nursing Students
Since you have already founds some information, you really need to go back to your treating physician to discuss how this finding relates to your particular health situation.
