UTEP Fall 2018 FNP

Hello, is anyone applying to the fall 2018 FNP program at UTEP? If so, has anyone heard anything back yet ?

I did not apply to any other programs. I will do some research and soul searching to decide if I want to reapply again soon or just spend some time enjoying life. Although I would love to continue my education, I also enjoy not stressing out about school. Haha.

hi! have y'all heard anything back yet? i applied for PNP-AC and interviewed and they told me our orientation would be August 7-8 (seems really soon!) good luck to all who interviewed for their respective specialties! :)

Haven't heard anything back yet! They told me that they would get back with the final decisions on Monday or Tuesday for the FNP program. Good luck!

Well, my application status changed to "Decision made: reject" which I was already anticipating. I'm not too upset about it though. I figure things work out as they should.

Congratulations! Curious, do you have the 2 year med surg requirement? Wondering if that's a hard a fast requirement or a strong recommendation...

I think you have to have the 2 years. I applied when I had 1.5 years and got denied. I asked the fnp director why, and she said that it was because I didn't have my 2 years yet. You should email and ask though!
