Hello everyone! I am working full time as a new nurse (3 12s). I am an ADN looking to apply to either Texas Tech or UTA online RN to BSN bridge programs. Two questions: what is the cost of each? Is one program more time consuming than the other?
For prereqs for Texas Tech I am finishing GOVT requirements this Spring. Then in the first half of Summer I'll finish HIST I and PHIL. With UTA there are more prereqs I need to get done on top of those, including: Sociology and Technical writing.
Any advice? Thanks :)

they each have websites that will answer your questions. As for "better". I belive both programs are highly regarded. If you have an Educator or someone in HR who knows about the topic, ask whether or not your employer is part of their academic partnership program. We are partnered with UTA and our staff gets a big discount, plus our facility pays tuition reimbursement. Ask about that
Thanks classic dame. I have researched these schools myself but would like to hear more personal experiences from those who have recently went through these programs or are currently attending. Yes, we have tuition reimbursement at my facility but its a fixed amount so price is still an issue for me. I welcome more input. Thank you :)

I have received some anecdotal information from UTA students over the last 3 years which reflects an increasing dissatisfaction with the level of support and guidance they receive. UTA's program has grown exponentially - maybe they are suffering from growing pains? A couple of UTA students also said they were misled about total costs. Apparently, the 'program cost' they were given did not include required activities that were outside the school of nursing.
To be fair, I just haven't had any interactions with Tech students... they may be experiencing the same issues.
Thanks
