BTW, don't get too used to Epic, because apparently we are all moving to Blackboard in Nov.

Yes, and the real pain is the academic coaches don't know how to use it either!!

We are already using blackboard for our course. It's great for me because that is what I'm used to.

Hi everyone,

I am going through the admssion process now and finding it slow and tedious. My enrollment specialist suggested I do gen ed courses starting OCT 22, before starting the rn bsn portion in the spring. My transcripts were recieved over a week ago, mymav status still says they are missing. Spoke with admissions a couple times, they said that would be updated which has not happened. Anyone had similiar experiences with admissions process? I am getting frustrated. Any suggestions to get them moving or just a waiting game at this point?

I would wait until i get my course map, but , if your enrollment specialist gives you suggestion, ask him/her to enroll you into one course. Don't get frustrated you will be fine, continue to call them, do not relax and wait for them. I believe you are not yet giving the admission that was why your MAV is saying something else though i didn't experience that. My advice to you is to call them every two days until they solve your problem, but do not loose hope, your worries will soon be over. I will start Oct 22, with English 1, and Psych. Thanks [COLOR=#003366]JesusandMaryhelp. I recieved the general college admission today after calling yesterday. Now just waiting on my email address and mymav to update so I can register for classes. Want to take algebra (get it out of the way because I hate it lol :clown: ) , History, English 2, and us gov't starting 10/22/2012. Good Luck to you also!!!!!!!!!!!!!
