UTA RN-BSN Reviews

Nursing Students Texas (UTA)

Updated:   Published

Hello!

I just graduated from University of Texas at Arlington's RN-BSN program. If anyone has any questions about the program, feel free to ask and comment below.

Hey it’s been like 2 years since I’ve taken those classes but , there are no tests to study for it’s all papers and projects and message boards . They have a rubric for every project and thing you have to follow. If you follow those you will do well.

I will say by the end of it you will get tired of writing 8-12 page papers . But every single class there will be a paper you have to do and you are taking 2 classes every month and a half

there wasn’t a hard class they were just time consuming after you have worked 3 days in a row! The only class that was a headache was nursing research . Take that class by itself ! Because the whole class is the paper

Hello,

I am starting my RN-BSN at UTA in 2 weeks. I have met all of the program's non-nursing prerequisites and have 10 NURS courses to complete the program overall. I would like to ask how I can achieve the most efficient degree plan. I know I will take the Research, Vulnerable Populations, and Capstone courses individually per your advice. I will also take your advice and take the easy courses together. That being said, is it feasible to take four courses at the same time? With 10 courses to complete, would it be feasible for me to complete the program within 1 year while working full time as an RN? Thank you!
