Hi Jessicarnc,
I had the option of choosing between UTA and Ohio State University, they are both affordable. I chose UTA because the start date was convenient for me. I don't know about University of Jacksonville. I am almost done with technical writing, I'm enjoying the course but it's a lot of writing assignments. You just have to make sure you participate in discussions and submit your assignments on time.
Hi!! I am currently taking classes at UTA, I am taking vulnerable populations now (week 1 of 5) and just finished professional nursing A&B, I am also taking my second history class, algebra, and Texas politics.. all classes UTA required.. I start an Art class and literature in 3 weeks.. UGH.. I'd be more than happy to work together if you all are interested in the future with nursing classes.. PM me if you'd like and we can exchange email addresses :) Good luck to you all!
I am starting Spring for the online RN to BSN program! I'm very excited to finally be working on this goal. I am ready to start working my way away from bedside nursing. I am taking Professional Nursing A & B for my first course. I hope to be taking multiple courses at a time in the future though.
Done with Art Appreciation class. It was alright and not stressful. You can combine this with another class with no problem. You don't need to know how to draw. If you are "drawing challenged" you can still make it in this class. The grading has nothing to do with your drawing skills. The class is an exposure to the art world. It about knowing the different art works from different cultures. I really enjoyed the course.
Hello TexasGirl24,
Technical writing is alright. Just follow the rubrics and you will do fine. It's a lot of writing but compared to Health Assessment it is a child's play. You can actually take technical writing with another course if you want. This is just to tell you it is not stressful. Once again follow rubrics and you will get an "A".

Hello everyone,
Congrats to all those accepted to UTA online RN-BSN program and other students as well. I am really forward to this program. My first course will be Technical Writing. I am inviting all you "Technical Writers" to join in these 5 weeks journey to share ideas and resources to help pass the class. Also, has anyone finished this program in less then a year. Pls, let me hear from you and how you went about it. What are the best classes to double up. Right now, I am just testing the waters with Technical Writing.
