UTA ONLINE FNP APRIL 7th Start

I just wanted to check in and see if anyone has received acceptance or any kind of notification into the ONLINE FNP Academic partnership for the April 7th start!

I am so sorry to hear that UTA program didn't work well for you. You may have to try a different work schedule like 3 /12 hr shifts or part time .I really think 5/8 hour shifts are way too hard with full time school.I hope you will be just fine with UTMB program.Good Luck !!

I currently work 3/12s so hopefully I can try to devote my off days to school work. I can't believe the coach was that insensitive.

I work 5 8's but in a clinic setting. I also have an office so I think it will be doable. I wish they would hurry up and start sending out the emails.

I think we'll start hearing this Friday.

I've been working extra shifts so I don't have lots of time to be nervous...and also to pay for those crazy grad school prices.

I got a $533 scholarship from UTA (i think everyone gets that) and if you are enrolled in at least 6 hours per semester you are entitled to $20,000/year in loans. They split it up equally per semester. I was awarded $10,000 for fall and spring so I called and asked for aid for the summer. They took back the 10,000/semester offer and changed it to like $6500 a semester. My tuition for 6 hours was $3900.

That's weird. I was told we would get a 4000 scholarship as long as we started by May. Not sure what 4000 scholarship would break down to over I guess 4 semesters and 2 summer sessions. Interesting.

No and it's about two weeks from the start date!!! I am thinking I didn't get in :-(

I haven't either. THe email they sent was worded weird though....I couldnt decided if they were saying we would hear by today...or the decisions would start coming out by today.
