Is anyone else having trouble getting their email address? I still don't have one and when I called yesterday the help desk told me it still hadn't been created and could take a couple of days.

Hello missrnbsn2u, did you activate your email account at uta.edu/oit/email/ ? any problems doing so?

How do I activate it? I didn't see anything that says activate. I called yesterday to have them activate it and was told it hadn't even been created.

Did you receive the "Acceptance Form" email? Here's the part of it related to UTA email setup...

Yes I got that email. What I am saying is when I go to get my email so that I can login I have no email. It is blank.

I guess you have to wait for help desk to fix it? You may have to call them again.

It hasn't been created. Called help desk and they sent a request over for it to be created. I have a question. So I was looking at the email that tells us which courses to take. So this summer we are technically taking 3 courses? 1 starting May 19 and the other 2 starting June 30. Does anyone know if we can take the May 19 and one from the June 30 start date? I dont mind taking 2 courses at a time, which I know this is technically 2 at a time, but 3 in a summer session seems a bit much.

Just wanted to update everyone. First I talked to the advisor and you can take 2 classes instead of three this summer. They will put you on the one class at a time for the summer (still receive FA because its 6 hrs) and then go back to 2 classes per semester for the rest of the program. I am taking Path by itself. And my financial aid is posted on my account. Minus the scholarship. I talked to the scholarship ppl and they said that it comes from the department. So I am waiting to hear back from the department.
