UTA FNP fall 2017

I just applied to UT Arlington for fall 2017 online Cohort. My GPA was 3.6 and I have just 2yrs experience in medsurge. I graduated from UTA and was very ok with the online coursework there. Just wondering if there is anyone else looking forward to joining fnp fall 2017 class and any ideas what my chances are with my GPA and experience?

After nearly giving up I got a call yesterday that I was accepted into the Post MSN FNP online Certificate program for Fall 2017. I am very excited because I have been searching for a program that is in state and reasonably prices. I was searching other more expensive programs because I was told they accept MSN/FNP students first then if there are spots they allow in Certificate students.

I was give and start date of 8/14 or 9/25, I have been trying to get started for a year now, but 8/14 is a little fast.

Anyways hope to stay in touch if there is anyone else going this fall, I don't know my degree course plan yet. I am a little terrified I have lost all my skills because i have been away from the bedside for 5 years, hopefully some of it comes back to me.

Can someone tell me the first few courses we are gonna take. I have not received my degree plan yet but I want to get a head start in securing study resources. I hate last minute.

i just got notification yesterday I could start 8/14 or 9/25, i have been waiting to get started but 8/14 is coming so quick, I am doing the certificate program. I am just trying to pump myself up it came out of blue i had given up completely!!

Sent an email about my case to [email protected].

Replied that they needed my resume since June 16th.I was not aware that they did coz I did not receive an email and it is not on my to do list on mymav.

Just sent the resume and now making my prayers that all will be well.

I prefer UTA to others coz I did my BSN there.

I was accepted to the MSN Post FNP Certificate to start 9/25, but they just told me last Friday the program is not eligible for federal financial aid. I am looking at a Plus Loan, hopefully this will work, I really want to start. I had verified before I applied and was told they accept financial aid for the non degree seeking program, some schools do some don't, so I am really really upset they called me after I already applied and waited 6 months to be accepted. Now its too late to look at other programs. And the hassle of applying again is so upsetting.
