UTA FNP Academic Partnership Program June 30th 2014 Session

Hey everyone,

I recently applied to the FNP Academic Partnership Program at UTA for the June 30th session. Who else applied for this session and have you heard anything back? I am re-posting this because i didn't get any reponse the last time i posted it.

Hi all, this is my first time posting anything! I applied at UTA for the June 30th class and still waiting to hear back. I applied at Chamberlain for the 7/7 start date and got in. Yeah! But I really want to go to UTA, since I got my RN-BSN from UTA this May and I live in the DFW area. But I have read horror story about the 2 classes at a time, and that scares me! At Chamberlain its one class every 8 weeks and will graduate 12/2016 instead of summer of 2016 with UTA, so I think having a peace of mind taking one class would be best. I am full time mom with 3 little ones and am a home health nurse with lots of paper work. Still waiting to hear from UTA. I check my myMAV several times a day. nerve racking!

Chamberlain did look promising...but I didn't want to miss out on tuition reimbursement at work, so I've got to stay with a program that my work recognizes...because the one class at a time sounds VERY nice!!!

I also applied for the June 30th class and no word yet. That's why I applied at Chamberlain as a second option. And I got in for the 7/7/14 class. It took no time for them to let me know I got in. I really wanted to go to UTA, bc i got my RN-BSN there and I am familiar with the blackboard, but the length of time it takes for them to let me know if i got in and then taking 2 classes at a time makes me nervous. At chamberlain its only one class at a time, so instead of a summer graduation it will be a Dec graduation.

I just accessed my MyMAV with UTA and it stated "application granted"!! yeah!!Now i have to decide which one to pick!!!

That's great!! I haven't heard from UTA yet. My status on My Mav hasn't changed yet.
