  1. Hey aggie2011 I am sooo sorry for the late response. Please forgive me. I went to the orientation, bought my books and is ready for school to start. How are you preparing? I'm excited and nervous at the same time.
  2. Congrats @miabeograd. I registered and didn't have any problem.
  3. Good to hear. I decided on TWU. But goodluck to you and everyone else going thru this program.
  4. How are classes going for those of you who started on june 30th?
  5. Thank you @gradstudent2017 and 3wishes. Hey 3wishes, Which textbook are you currently using?
  6. Thank you 3wishes! I appreciate it. Did you take it in houston or dallas?
  7. I'm glad i found this thread. I too will be starting the NP program at TWU this fall. I just spoke with someone in the office and was told that everyone has to take Theory and Adv. Patho their first semester. Is this true? and if so can someone please send me a sample syllabus from previous semester? I am trying not to freak out about taking patho my first semester.
  8. I say never give up. It took me 2yrs to program. Take the GRE or MAT, there is no minimum requirement. and your last 60 is what they look at anyway so you should be good to go.
  9. I think you will be considered even with a GPA 3.0 and > Is this your last 60 or overall GPA?
  10. Not at all. Im at the dallas campus. I took the GRE so i don't know much about MAT. Are you interested in the WHNP program?
  11. Great!! When are you thinking about starting? And have you applied?
  12. i dont know but it will definetly be longer than the accelerated program.
  13. Hahahaha.. I want the funny hood too! just spoke with someone over in their camp and they said I could switch to the on-campus track. I'm kinda digging that because 1. they will now find you a preceptor, 2. there won't be a rush to pay $1970 every 5 weeks. I am seriosuly weighting my options with UTA and TWU!
  14. My main concern is the money and how incredibly late they gave admissions. I wanted to drop down to working 3/12 at work but with class starting soon and final work schedule posted, I dont think my boss will let me. My second concern is if I can one class at a time, will I have to cough up $1970 every 5wks?
