UTA AO BSN Spring 2022

Published

Hello,

Since I couldn’t find a thread for students applying to the Spring 2022 UTA AO BSN I decided to create one. I will be applying to the program but I am quite nervous about being accepted. My GPA is not what I want to be, but I am hopeful. My score as of right now is 7.49 but it might go up a little also I am not partnered.

Hello! I am apply for the 2022 AO BSN as well. My scores aren’t the greatest but praying to get in. I have all the prerequisites completed and sitting at a 7.63 with priority due to having patho and pharm completed with a grade B or higher. Also an 81 on my TEAS test. Good luck to everyone!

Hello, for those of you who already took patho, who did you take it with? How was the class? And If you're just about to take it, who are you taking it with? I'm just looking for a study partner.

In my your My Mav it shows you how many points you have or if you have any considerations.

Thanks. I’ll check it out but I don’t think my score has changed. I am getting a bit nervous about September.

They gave me my priority rank and listed my hospital I am employed with.

Hi, Heather.   can you share the list of hospitals that UTA partners with ?  Thank you in advance.

That’s awesome. Best of luck in getting accepted. What area are you applying in?

I took Patho with Hughes in the Spring. I believe all the professors merge their classes together. I won't lie its hard and lots of information, I learned so much in that class and I really enjoyed it.

I tried to look for the list but since the application period is over I can't see it anymore. I know that Parkland, Children's, JPS, Cook Children's were on there. They change though sometimes.

Thank you! Good luck to you as well! Dfw. The most saturated area unfortunately  ?

Hello,

I am planning on applying as well for Spring 2022. I have a lot of catching up to do since my previous degrees are from out of state so I don't have all the pre-reqs complete. The benefit I guess is the extra points I can get for taking courses through UTA.

Does anyone know if the science courses count towards the 30 total pre-req points too? I wasn't sure if they meant  you get .5 for 12 science hours and needed 30 in addition to those in non science classes to get an additional .5 points.
