Hello,
Since I couldn’t find a thread for students applying to the Spring 2022 UTA AO BSN I decided to create one. I will be applying to the program but I am quite nervous about being accepted. My GPA is not what I want to be, but I am hopeful. My score as of right now is 7.49 but it might go up a little also I am not partnered.

How would you know which hospitals are partnered?

Their accelerated online program is unique because you could have the best GPA and still not make it in because of all the additional points admissions will consider (EX: master’s, partner status, veteran, pre-reqs). If you’re applying without any of those priorities, I’d consider looking into the campus based program for a more leveled playing ground.

Any way of knowing which hospitals are partnered? Didn’t seem like it but I thought I’d ask.. we are In The RGV area. I’m already and RN and I doubt I’ll have trouble finding an accepting hospital for my husband but IDK if they even allow that ?♀️

The list supposedly changes every semester, so I would reach out to UTA and ask, they are typically slow at replying to emails so keep that in mind.
I had what was considered a low score, 7.313, but I was partnered and had priority consideration due to completing Path and Pharm with an A. If your husband has a lower score compared to others, such as I did, I highly recommend partner status as I was admitted before some of my cohort even with my low score solely due to my partnership.
While I was employed through a partnered hospital, I was only working PRN and was still able to receive this consideration. Best of luck to y'all!

Hi! I'm also applying for Spring 23. I am sending over my transcripts & stuff this Friday. I've already taken all of the pre-reqs so I'm hoping that ups my ranking & my chances of getting in. Good luck to you!

Currently I am going to apply for Spring 2023 and just completed pharmcology but did not pass it. Has anyone gotten in with out priority consideration for path or pharm? Also I am not partnered and GPA score is pretty low 7.5 with 30 h pre req consideration.
Hello! I ended up choosing Texas Tech's accelerated program, but I did get accepted into UTA. I did not have the patho/pharm consideration and I was not partnered. My score was 8.3.
