UT Tyler Spring 2014

Hello, I just wanted to create this thread to see who else was applying to UT Tyler for the Spring of 2014? I am applying as a transfer student and would love to meet some other nursing students. Feel free to post any comments, questions, etc. Good luck to everyone!

It sounds like you are in. Why would you print an orientation packet if you weren't ?

I would say that it means y'all got in. They probably had a typo that said for the Spring of 2013 or something like that.

That was all the email said though. There was no orientation attachment included in the email.

We have not received a formal acceptance or denial letter which is what is confusing . That is all the letter said .

Here is what I bet happened. They sent out the first letter, then attempted to recall it after they found there was a mistake on it. That usually doesn't work, so they sent out the correction...not realizing the first letter never made it to some of the folks. The orientation packet is actually not an attachment, but there is a link to to it (it can be found on the UT Tyler website). You wouldn't have received a correction had you not been on the acceptance list. However, the letter is important and probably has information you need in it (like the advisors phone number). I would be very optimistic, cautiously, but optimistic nonetheless.
