UT Tyler nursing spring

Am applying to UT tyler nursing program for spring 2015. Anyone else applying? Feel free to post comments.

How many of you are still waiting for your blue card? I got my fingerprinting done l think around late October so I figured that I would have mine by now. I'd like to take a "head-count"?

So do any of you know if there is a lot of competition at Tyler? I did a year at uta and my friend also did as well her gpa was a 3.8 and she was wait listed. She didn't get in until the next academic year. They only accept about 1/3 of what apply if that.. Smh

Just got my fingerprinting done on Friday (the 5th) so I definitely have not received my blue card yet.

I did mine in mid November and received the card a little after thanksgiving.

I did fingerprints in November and received blue card about 3 weeks later.

I emailed the college on Monday and have received no response. I asked whether I need to do a follow-up call or something to check status.

I assume it is really competitive. Considering, I was the only one out of all my friends that got in. One particular had just about the same grades as mine.. and 5 points lower on the TEAS then me and she did not get in. She exceeded all the requirements and did not get in. I believe her GPA was around 3.6 and she made a 80 average on the TEAS. she was devastated.

For those still waiting on their blue cards, I called the TX BON and was told that mine was sent out November 14th. I still do not have it so either it was misplaced or lost in the mail somewhere. The BON will send out a new one but they are required to wait 30 days so mine will be sent again this coming Monday.

Has anyone bought books yet? I just checked the bookstore website and it has the package listed under NURS33107, but then it also has books listed for NURS 3303 and 3205. I tried to find out what is included in the package but haven't had any luck. Let me know if anyone has!! Thanks
