Ut Tyler nursing fall 2015

Does anyone know if all science prerequisites need to be completed before APPLYING or before STARTING the program? I have tried calling the past week and the phone has always been busy. Any help would be appreciated, thanks! :)

I think all science prerequisites need to be completed before starting the program. You can apply while you're still taking them. And you have to take pathophysiology and nursing concepts before you can start.

Hi! I am applying for the fall 2015 and I submitted my application January 12, but I never received even a "thank you for applying" email. Has anyone else heard anything at all? I am beginning to worry. I emailed the nursing admissions tonight and will call tomorrow to double check.

I haven't heard anything either. Decisions go out six weeks after application deadline. This week is the fifth week. Let's hope for something positive. I have pathophysiology class this thursday, I pass by the advisor's office to find out what's going on. Keeping hope high!

Those who started this spring, it took them exactly four weeks to hear back. It may be this week or next week. @victoriawasi, what are your stats, if you don't mind me asking. Are you already a student at UT Tyler? Have you taken pathophysiology and nursing concepts already. Am taking pathophysiology and nursing concepts this semester. I hope I get in. Good luck to us.

@angieperry, I have a 3.5 GPA including classes not required for UT Tyler. I made in the 95% percentile on my TEAS. I am not a student at Tyler right now but I didn't get accepted into the pre nursing program. I am not taking the Pathophysiology class now because I wanted to see if I got accepted and then take it. Just FYI I called the nursing school and they said that they didn't send out any emails saying applications were received or anything and it takes 6-8 weeks before they send out acceptance letters so we still have a few more weeks.
