UT-Knoxville 2019 DNP

I wanted to start a thread for those applying to the August 2019 CRNA-DNP program at The University of Tennessee Knoxville. From what I can tell applications are due February '19 and the start is August '19. Good luck to those applying !

So my stats before I apply are:

Overall: 3.1 Gpa

Science: 3.5 but post bachelors is a 3.8

Last 60: 3.74

Nursing school: 3.49

Experience: 2 years MICU with flost to SICU and Neuro icu.

Certs: TNCC,, PALS, ACLS, BLS

Have to take the GRE and the CCRN.

Is it even worth trying?

Hey! I've applied for August 2019 admission as well. It's likely I may not get accepted but I thought it wouldn't hurt to try.

Undergrad GPA 3.3

last 40 hours of coursework 4.0

CNOR certified

Just started in the SICU at a large teaching hospital

I'm also an RN first assistant.

Have not taken the GRE.

Not eligible to take CCRN yet.

Do you know when they will start interviewing?

Not so sure, but pretty curious as well! I tried looking for the old thread but I can't seem to find it. It looks like another thread was started for this cohort though ?
