hi, everyone...

hope you are enjoying your holiday. fyi: i emailed tarsha to get isbn numbers. i'll post when i get them.

here ya go guys. i found all of the isbns and bought all of them already. i found everything and got the current edition of every book. the only one i couldnt find any info on was "nutrition handbook for nursing practice". i used abebooks.com (half price books) and did extremely well i think. i love this site. with shipping and handling it came out to right at $500.00. i just need to see what the deal is with that one book.

physical exam & healt ass. 0721697739,, concise rules of apa style 1591472520,, mosby's 0323037364,,drug calc 0323025625,, manual of lab and diag tests 0781741807,,nurses pocket guide 080361179x,,phipps 0323031978,, fundamental of nursing 0323025862,,davis drug guide 0803611528,, pathophysiology 0721603386,, patho study guide 1416023836,, nursing research 0323028284,,

like i said, the one book that i couldnt find a current edition on was "nutrition handbook for nursing practice" but ill keep lookin ( i found a 3rd edition but didnt buy it). ill let yall know what i find. if it means anything i buy from abebooks all the time and have never had a problem. i would recommend using a physical address as a shipping address in case u normally get mail to a po box ( some vendors wont ship to po boxes). the actual book total was about 480.00 but shipping from several vendors added up to about 500.00. i still think it wasnt bad.

let me know if i mistyped one of the book isbns.

talk to yall later

reenee

oh and I did a Barnes and Noble and Amazon comparison:

Barnes and Noble-$754.00

Amazon- $620.00

BUT both of those prices are before shipping and handling and minus the one book (should be 13 books total but only got 12) which could add a bit more to the total.

good luck

Yall may want to wait on getting some of your books....you should get something about having a senior buddy....I would recommend this so you can get another viewpoint about school, plus you could probably borrow some of their books since you really don't need all of them. My buddy gave me great advice

Or yall can PM me if you have any questions as well.

or... ne1 interested in buying half the books and making copies... sighs.. trying to be cheap and save money.... =(

Hey everyone -- Congrats! I'm looking into this program, and I'm just trying to figure out my chances. It says we only have to have 8 hours of sciences to apply, but will it hurt my chances if I only have 8 hours? Thanks for any info on the admissions!
