I've signed up for Pre-orientation for next week. Anyone else on the forum going? I'm all registered and have everything turned in.
I'm slowly buying supplies and books. I haven't gotten any loan money yet so I'm just working with what's left over from my monthly budget. I have a few books, my scrubs, and shoes. I'm so nervous and excited.
How far is everyone along in getting books, supplies, ect? Did anyone else sign up for a senior buddy? How are you planning on getting to school?

Hi Simpleone-I do love that user name by the way. I agree with AdrianLu that they are looking at the whole perspective of what a potential student has to offer. They only had NET scores and transcripts to go off of when they called in for interviews, at least that was the case for me and I didn't have a 4.0. I remember when the interview was wrapping up, the interviewer stated they are just trying choose candidates that they feel can handle the program and will not give up on it. Good luck, I'm excited for you!
Well today was the mandatory orientation-Neat to think that I may have spoken to some of you there! Maybe I am just incredibly nutty but I love this material. It is so fascinating to me. Maybe now that we will be able to apply the things we are learning I will actually remember a reasonable amount of it! That would definately be nice.
I will be there next week too! I think I have all my supplies with the last two books finally arriving yesterday.Adrian, how far are you having to commute? I am on the far North side so it will take me about an hour to get there. It's alright though, I'm sure it will be worth it.
Guess I will see you both on Monday. :)
Hey, Amm4, I pm'ed ya!

Thank you for answering!! UT is really the place i absolutely want to go to. I work hard in every class and I so badly want to get into that school. If you were to rate how easy it was to get into the school from 1 to 10, what would it be? i'm in good standing with my grades and i'm taking the net test in october so i have sufficient amount of time to study and practice tests. Thanks again!

Yes, there will likely be an interview for the BSN Generic.
