UT- Houston 2017 CRNA BSN-DNP

Hello everyone!

I want to start a thread for those of you applying to UT-Houston's BSN-DNP CRNA program for 2017 admission. How is everyone faring so far? Being that this is a competitive program, this is a place where we can help each other out essentially.

I'm finishing up my application soon. Who else is doing the same?! What are your stats? Mine are:

GPA 3.8

GRE: 306

3 years SICU

CCRN

I also got accepted to Interview. I was very surprised as I currently only have 8 months of experience as a nurse. Maybe they liked my stats and previous military experience?

What is everyone doing to prepare for the interview?

Hello future CRNAs,

I am very interested in attending the UT CRNA program in 2017. However, it seems like everyone applied already. Is this for the summer program or the fall program? I also noticed that the deadline date on their website is set to March 1. I just need clarification. Thanks a lot!

I thought I responded to this message. Deadline is past. The Deadline for 2017 was July 1, 2016. Not sure where you saw March 1. Application is typically for Summer start date for the following year!

What did everyone think about their interview? Mine was short and sweet around 10-15 minutes. Bad sign? Maybe...we'll see haha. Good luck to everyone!

Just out of curiosity, I see that many of you have been accepted to several other programs already (TCU, OLOL, Baylor) and have accepted those spots. Is UT your first choice?
