Was waiting for someone else to make this thread, but I'm too anxious!

I am applying for the Summer 2019 application cycle at UT Health Science in Houston.

Stats:

HESI Overall: 92.4

Nursing Pre-req GPA: 3.88

Science Pre-req GPA: 4.0

Cumulative GPA: 3.41

My science Pre-req is excluding Chemistry. I'll be taking that in the Spring along with a few last minute pre-reqs. I have 2 F's in random classes on my transcript from a few year ago when I lost my mode of transportation. Unfortunately that's bringing my cumulative GPA down. Still feel like I have a shot though, so I am applying!

I'll also be applying for UTMB Fall 2019, Lone Star Fall 2019, and reapplying to UT Health Fall 2019 (if need be).

I resent all of mine just in case. I would recommend doing it just to be safe.

Anybody having trouble submitting documents on the eValue website? I've submitted all my titers. However, some fields also ask you for hep B series 1,2,3. But I only have titer results to prove I'm immune. So do I just leave it blank? Also I saw field for TB X Ray, Varicella 1st, 2nd dose. Again, because I only have titer results to prove it, and I have negative TB. Soooo don't know do I just just leave those fields blanks.

Also, is the student ID same as your username??? or school nursing ID? ? I need those for the social security form and residency question form.

BTW anybody at the same pace as me? I'm still submitting documents.

when you got the email saying you got accepted it had your name and your id. its a series of numbers. thats your student id. i dont know a out the rest sorry!

hey! for Heb B you'll need to enter the series more than likely the one from your childhood & for Varicella you also need to enter the series unless you have documentation from a physician stating you've had history of the disease. try using the SON required immunizations on the new student information, which is available by going to the current students tab. it was also included in one the emails we first got. hope this helps!

Hep B and Varicella, you just let them blank if you have positive-antibody titer results. It means you do not take shot series when you are immune.

TB skin test: if you had a negative result. You do not need to take chest Xray, so let it blank.

I think student ID is different from your username that used when logging in the system. It may mention somewhere in the accepted emails.

Is anybody is still on the waiting list? At this point I'm more concerned if my application was processed correctly. I got the email for the waiting list awhile ago, but I haven't been updated on either now. I'm more accepting towards a denial ? but I really just want my answer already

I don’t think we’ll hear back until May. For the spring I got my denial a month and a half later after my waitlist email. Last summer’s waitlisters heard back until the beginning of May so I think there’s still more waiting to be done.

I am still on the waitlist. I got the email way back but my account still just says review. So I'll take that at face value until they say no more spots can/will be given up.

For those on the waitlist and still waiting for acceptances... UTMB and A&M sent out their decisions so hopefully that means some good news will be headed your way! I accepted my UTH offer back in March but will be emailing tomorrow to inform them that I accepted at UTMB and will be declining my UTH offer. I wish you all the best of luck and congratulations to the lucky person on the waitlist who fills this spot!!

Still no update to portal and no mail or email. 2 people last Summer were accepted off the waitlist on this forum the first week of May. So I bet one of us will definitely make it off. I wonder how many people are on the list. 20 maybe? 30?

(P.S. every time I read on a different school’s forum that someone has declined that school’s offer to go to UTHealth a little part of me is like noooooo go to the other school!! ?)
