I haven't seen a topic for the UT Health Fall 2018 program, so here it is!
I am applying for the fall with following stats:
Prereq GPA 3.65
Science GPA 4.00
HESI (just took it last Friday):
Reading 90
Vocab 92
Grammar 84
Math 96
AP 100
I am making a career shift with a BS in Chemistry that I got from UH Downtown.
Good luck everyone!
Hey guys! I also got accepted yesterday for the fall semester! Congrats to all that have as well!
I just moved to the woodlands from San Antonio because my fiance was hired as a spring fire fighter. I was wondering if any of you guys lived in the Woodlands/Conroe/ spring area and maybe wantsd to consider commuting together? An hour both ways at least is going to be quite crazy. I looked into the bus that goes from the woodlands to the medical center and it is $13 a day, without any permenant passes available. That comes out to $65 a week!
I haven't heard back from Sam Houston yet, but I have heard that UTH is a much better program. SH is just so much closer.

I probably won't live in that area, but according to the METRO site, it looks like if you can drive yourself to the Spring Park & Ride the fare should only be $1.85 each way with a student ID. I would post a link but this website doesn't like that. Hope this helps!

I'm from Spring and am interested if I don't end up getting an apartment down there!
Any vets on here get accepted? I have 96 overall Hesi (a damn 100 on my A&P, which they said is the one they look at the heaviest), 3.7 overall GPA, and 3.7 nursing GPA and third time striking out with gobs of prior medical experience from the military. I am blown away that I haven't gotten in by now. Oh, well. If they don't want a Navy Corpsman in their program then it is totally their loss as anyone in the know would take a Corpsman over a nurse to help them anyway. Oh well, good luck to y'all that got in. Moving on and not applying again to UTH. Their transparency is terrible, I have yet to ever receive a transcript eval in 3 attempts despite multiple attempts to contact them, they have consistently not had my transcripts uploaded to the portal, so I have no idea what they are actually looking at. And the acceptance rate is ridiculous. See y'all out there someday! Rant over!
Did you actually receive a denial letter or in the portal?
I haven't been "officially" denied this cohort, but I have been down this road before. Small chance you will get a wait list notice even smaller chance that someone drops their spot, but if you haven't heard anything, I would do what you have to do to move on with your emotions and life because probability is very low at this point. Not to be the Debbie Downer, but maybe the voice of reality. Time to start looking at next cycle, or another school if you haven't heard anything. I have. If for some reason, I do get in, it will be the tastiest crow I ever ate.

Not a vet but I too have applied three times now and still no acceptance. Got waitlisted for summer but then denied. I do not understand how they accept some with lower scores while there are still some of us with high HESI's and high GPA's still unable to get in after multiple admissions. I've been accepted to TWU thankfully but I really had my hopes on UT. They have the worst communication of any college I've interacted with.
