UT Health Pacesetter BSN Fall 2018

I haven't seen a topic for the UT Health Fall 2018 program, so here it is!

I am applying for the fall with following stats:

Prereq GPA 3.65

Science GPA 4.00

HESI (just took it last Friday):

Reading 90

Vocab 92

Grammar 84

Math 96

AP 100

I am making a career shift with a BS in Chemistry that I got from UH Downtown.

Ugh, I don't understand why they make decisions so late. My life and I am sure others too are on hold for this. I keep telling myself this and I will tell you all as well, good things come to those who are patient!

I called student affairs today and I'm not sure if this is correct but I asked when decisions would be going out and they told me they will be going out by mail on the 15th of June :/

They tell every semester of applicants certain date but in the past have always let them know by email a few weeks before that date.

wow that's crazy, but at least for now Ill just get it out of my head that I'll hear anything earlier than that and quit checking my email like a maniac. Patience is a virtue :/

Maybe the 15th is just when they have to send them out by. All we can do is wait!:)

Anyone else here who hasn't received a transcript eval...? It's really bumming me out.

I was accepted for summer and didn't get a transcript evaluation until about a month after I found out I was accepted. So don't worry if you don't get one!

Do we know if UT will accept pathophysiology if I take it at another school or if we have to take it with them?

I believe you have to retake it with them. A girl in my cohort did nursing classes before and is retaking it. Not sure of the details though so I would call and make sure!

I was accepted to TWU as well but I really want UTH. The wait for a decision is honestly so ridiculous. Have you started all of the vaccines/titters for TWU yet? I haven't even registered for classes yet because I'm still waiting to hear back from UTH.

Really?? That makes me feel a bit better.

I just worry that they didn't bother to look/calculate my GPAs.

Hi! Congrats on being accepted for summer! Still waiting to hear for fall. I did have one question, do you know if you can transfer patho to UT if you took it elsewhere? I was accepted to TWU for this fall but would much rather attend UT. I signed up for a summer patho class with TWU but do you know if I take it this summer, will UT accept it or do you have to take patho with them?

I have started on my vaccinations - I'm sure that what we have to take for TWU will be pretty similar to UT's required immunizations. I did sign up for fall classes for now at orientation but I haven't paid for anything yet
