Hi, anyone applying for Fall 2023?
What has been your experience so far?

Thanks Ana. Did your friend reapply with the same stats?
If you don't get in this go around, I would ask them if they could tell you what you could do to make your application more competitive. I would also review all your prerequisites and make sure you really had them all, and make sure you took all the required sections of the HESI, things like that. Because if I remember right, your stats were really high. So that leaves me to wonder if something was just missing. But if it is all there and you just didn't get picked, then definitely apply again. I've heard many stories of people reapplying with all the same stats they had the first time and getting in on the second go of it. You could also do some volunteer work, if you haven't already, to try to boost your application. The Red Cross, is a great organization, affiliated with the nursing profession, and they have lots of opportunities, and unlike volunteering at a hospital, you don't have to jump through so many hoops just to get started, or agree to a year long commitment. Wishing you all the best. Don't get discouraged. And who knows you may still get in this round, after all.

In terms of my grades, I really can't do much more to improve. I also have volunteered as a translator in a pediatrics clinic and have done food drives. My enrollment coach looked over my transcripts and said I have everything I need. I'm just confused because surely they have looked over my app by now and they still couldn't make a decision. But you are right, I could still get in and I'm worried for nothing.
Hey guys so just received an email saying my application was denied since it was incomplete although I had been in contact with the enrollment coach from the school before the application deadline and she had informed me my application was complete and I was good. Kinda bummed but I do have a backup school so I won't be reapplying. But I guess just heads up since I think they sent out more emails this morning.

The same thing happened to my Summer application. I kept calling them for 3 month s and they told me everything was fine but then they denied my application because it was incomplete! I reapplied and made sure I go to school this time to check everything with them and I was accepted for fall. I'm happy that you have a backup plan tho. Also don't let this discourage or disappoint you. They didn't deny your application because it wasn't good enough. They just didn't have all the information needed so I'm sure you'll be OK wherever you apply to. Wish you luck !!

Hello, did you ever figure out what was missing from your Summer app?

So I still haven't heard back from them, I called and asked if rejections have gone out and they have apparently. Historically speaking, what do y'all honestly think my chances of getting in are at this point?
