I have been looking for a forum for Spring 2022 nursing applicants. 

I have submitted my application with a GPA of 4.0 and 94% HESI cumulative score. 

Anyone else applied for the Spring 2022 semester? If so, what are your stats?

I'll be applying for Spring 2022 after being denied for Fall 2021.

My GPA is 4.0 and I scored a 96% overall on my HESI. I'm not sure how their acceptances work, but unfortunately stats don't seem to have as much weight as one would think.

Hi there! I am also applying for Spring 2022 but my stats are not as good...

My prerequisite GPA is ~3.65 (still have to complete 2 more classes in fall)

Science GPA is 3.75

HESI overall 94%

I really hope it is good enough but I also heard its like a lottery system so not sure what they really look at...I am also worried because my overall cumulative GPA is not high due to poor choices as a freshman in college. I hope they really only base off of prerequisites. 

Does it lessen my chances since I still have 2 more classes to complete in the fall? I know on their website it says can apply if have 40 prereq credit hours, and I will have 54hrs when applying.  I just read in a previous thread it may affect my chances.

I've been reading a lot of posts about the previous applications. It's really hard to tell. HESI scores within 85-90 were accepted while some with 90+ scores got denied. Same goes for GPA. As long as you have 40 credits before you applied, it won't affect your chances. Have you taken all major science courses: A&P I and II, Chem, and Micro?

Yes I completed all my sciences. Only left with Sociology and Statistics in the fall term. Thank you for replying. That’s also why I am nervous about application because the past acceptance varied so much.

I am about to complete sociology this fall too.  Good luck on the admissions I really hope we both get in! We did what we can ❤️

Hey everyone I also applied to the Spring 2022 semester. My overall GPA is a 4.0 and my cumulative HESI score is a 92%. Does anyone know if the school bases admissions off of extracurriculars as well? I did not find a place in the application to submit items besides my academic grades/stats. Anything would help, THANK YOU!

I've read that they rely mostly on academics (if not solely).

Surprise to hear you got denied with a fantastic GPA of 4.0 , if I may ask what’s your prerequisites GPA and science GPA.

Admission are solely base on prerequisites and science GPA as well as HESI.

Hey there, reapply question...Do I need to resend all my transcripts if I previously sent them for the fall application?  I have resent the one that has new classes on it.
