I'm feeling very nervous as we anticipate hearing back. I can't believe that the committee is meeting at the end of this month to make final admit decisions. Has everybody interviewed already or are some people still waiting?
I'm very nervous too. My PMHNP interview is complete. I was not offered the opportunity to interview for LEADs, which has made me nervous because I may be willing to take a LEADs seat if I didn't get into PMHNP, depending on other schools. Wondering if I can get admitted to LEADs if I don't get a PMHNP seat without doing an interview for it.

Happy New Year! Yes I am feeling the same way, the waiting period has been killing me softly. I interviewed the around the third week of November and haven't heard anything since. I'm hoping they meet early and we start to get notified about their decisions before Jan is over. Hopefully everyone here will get the good news we want to hear!

Hi @Aatri, a professor interviewed me. I remember being asked why I chose UT, why Leads specifically, why a masters over a BSN, how do I handle stress and self-care, a bunch of “tell me a time when” questions, how you plan on using your degree, name qualities a good nurse/employee should have, and at the end I was allowed to questions. The interview lasted for a little over an hour. Good Luck and don’t be nervous, let your light and passions shine through you!

@Aatrimy answers were really straight to the point so I am not sure how it was received LOL but I chose UT because the school is accredited and I will be able to receive in state tuition and have my family here to support me. I chose to pursue a masters in nursing to challenge myself and be eligible for greater opportunities that a BSN may not offer me. I chose to apply to LeaDS program because its focus is on building up students with skills to lead in any healthcare environment. The skills that students gain from being in the program would be beneficial to me in my future career plans. I was super nervous too but to help calm my nerves I practiced potential questions and thought of answers. I also wrote down everything I wanted to say and had it near me during the interview since it was on Zoom it may have looked like I was taking notes but I was really trying to remember my talking points LOL
