lucky you. You even have up to a month. I have less and I’m most likely going to let go of UT at this point.
I think I'm also going to let go of UT... I understand they have received an influx of applications but so has everyone else ://

Good luck to those of you who are going a different direction! I’m sorry about this tough decision! Are y’all going to let Tracy know that y’all are out?

I'm gonna think this through but I will probably end up telling Tracy I'm out by the end of the week. If I were to be accepted to UT I would be accepted to LeADs which is still an honor but like I got accepted to other programs and would actually be able to do what I want to from the getgo :((( it really is just hard because I wanted to stay in Austin ahhHH.
@Gabby Chavez I don't think they really care if we were to pull out ://

They will care, it’ll affect their enrollment
That’s exactly what I was thinking.

It seems like a lot is in limbo for many of us -- and the continuously-extended deadline really doesn't help! ?

Do any of you know what the typical schedule is this Summer? Like 7a-7p etc? I wish I had asked that specific question in my interview but I totally missed it. I know we should be expecting a 60 hour week...

To the people considering other options, it might be good to let Tracy know what you're looking at if you're comfortable with that. Maybe they already are aware and it won't speed up their process, but it's probably worth a shot.
If you're looking at other schools and have to make a decision by a certain date, sometimes that's a bit flexible. I know last year UT said the AEMSN folks had to accept/reject their offer within two weeks of their acceptance to the program, but things always come up and plans change. People have to drop out of programs each year before they start. Those deadlines are there to help the process go smoothly and so their wait listed people can be contacted earlier, but there may be some flexibility if you do need a bit more time to decide. Check with the program of course - I can only speak for UT's program last year.
