Did y’all gets Tracy’s email?
now they are saying final decisions are to be released by the end of February...

This is taking a long time compared to the last few years. I wonder what the hold up is

My heart fell to my stomach when I saw that. I’ve been working hard to keep my chill up until today! I’m guessing the pandemic has a lot to do with delays. Nothing is business as usual right now....

I only applied to one other school and they sent out decisions mid December.

This is the only school I applied for... so nervous and stressed because I have to figure out living situations etc. I wonder what is the hold up. Maybe since there was an influx of applicants they are trying to accommodate that?

UT was the first school I applied to this cycle and I've heard back from 3 schools that I applied after October 1st... ?

Specializes in Mental Health Counseling & Behavioral Medicine.

For folks who applied to other schools, is UT's delay causing issues in terms of responding to other schools you got into? I am so ready for the waiting game to be over!

I’m worried mostly about childcare for my little kids. I’m going to have to hire a nanny and I was hoping to put it off until I heard but we all have to plan ahead right? I guess housing, childcare, etc has to be taken care of but contingent on our acceptance for now.

I think there are going to be financial aid deadlines near March as well.

Yes. That’s what I’m mainly stressed about is the financial aid. I wonder if they are taking that into consideration. I wonder if there are going to be waves of acceptances. I’m so anxious....

Yes! I've been accepted to other schools but I was really hoping to stay in Austin because of $$$ but I also don't have much time to wait! I have until March 1st to make a decision to most of the other schools and that doesn't give me much time if I don't hear back from UT.

@ar7575

lucky you. You even have up to a month. I have less and I’m most likely going to let go of UT at this point.
