USVI on St.Thomas

I am a pre-nursing student at the University of Michigan and I basically have all my prerequisites finished. I have not taken the entrance test yet because I'm considering moving out of the states and experiencing life on the island as a pre-nursing student. I was considering transfering to University of the Virgin Island, but was not sure, like if I ever wanted to come back to the states to work as a nurse would it be a problem, being that I would have graduated from UVI's nursing program. Any information would be useful.

goodnight, I came across your post and though that perhaps you could give me some info or steer me in the right direction. I want to relocate to st.croix but i can't find any info on finding a nursing job. Also I heard that buying a house is very expensive. Is this true?
