I am looking to apply for the ABSN starting Summer 2016. An advisor told me all prerequisites had to be completed before the application deadline (for summer 2016) but if I am still enrolled in a few next spring 2016 they would count even though the courses would not be completed and final grades would not be posted?
Also- USF says the prereqs must be completed within the past 7 years. I have a BS and an MS from UF but unfortunately it was 8 years ago. When trying to enroll at HCC to retake these courses I was told that I could not repeat a course since I already received a passing grade (A) and it was florida statewide policy that a course cannot be repeated if it has already been completed with a B or better. So how do I retake a course I already completed but doesn't currently count for my application to the program since it was over 7 years ago?
Also having read many of the comments on GPA- I have a 3.89 in my undergrad and 4.0 in my graduate. Im gathering that this may not be considered as they are only looking at the prerequisites? Yet- one member posted that if may help if you have a postgraduate degree as it shows "commitment to continued education"?
Thanks in advance for any insight for feedback! Congrats to those of you who were accepted this past summer!

I am in a similar situation. I have a B.S. from UCF and am planning on applying to accelerated BSN programs next year. I need to repeat A/P I because I took it in 1997...and got an A. I recently attempted to enroll in an online A/P I class at Sante Fe College in Gainesville. I was told that I could enroll "by appeal only" because I already passed with a "C" or higher. Maybe HCC has a similar policy?
