USF SARASOTA ABSN SPRING 2020

I realized there's no thread for University of South Florida's accelerated bsn program for spring 2020 in Sarasota, so I thought of starting one. The deadline was on 4th October 2019. Come let's wait together ?.

Mine's on Tuesday! USF is my first choice so I'm really nervous and excited as well!

@stephaileen good luck!!! I'm nervous too. I got into UM but I think I would prefer USF. Do you live around the area, or would you have to move?

Mine is Tuesday at well in the morning! I’m so nervous I want to prepare somehow or knew what kind of questions they would ask

Wow congratulations and good luck to you too! I'll be moving from California, but I have family in the Tampa area and that's where I want to end up living permanently. What about you?

Previous threads from last year mentioned that there was a general question like "why do you want to be a nurse?" and then maybe a situational/ethical "what would you do if..." type question.

They also said there's about 5 questions, everyone gets the same questions, and there are two really nice interviewers. I'm not sure if anything changed from last years though. But that gives me hope that we can just relax and be confident going in, and I'm sure it'll go great ?

Nice! I live in Miami, so if I get into USF I would have to find a place in Sarasota near campus.

Hey guys hope you all did great on your interviews!!!

I do not feel so confident about my interview, so only hoping for the best now.

I did mine today. I felt good walking out of it, but now the anxiety has kicked in and I keep thinking about everything I left out or I focused too much on the wrong thing. Crossing my fingers for everyone! I will also have to relocate to Sarasota if I get in. It’s a beautiful town, I’ve always loved Sarasota. OH SHOOT! Before I forget, I’m having trouble finding the names of the interviewers, does anyone know where I can find that information? I was looking right at her name tag but my mind just blanked. I asked Ashley, and she said something nebulous about a website and I didn’t want to pester her.

And I agree, Sarasota is a beautiful town. Would love to live/study there! Hoping for the best for all of us.
