I also wanted to know if there were any other books I might get before class starts that I could read in order to be ahead and ready for class?

I was accepted into the FNP masters for the fall and just want to thank everyone for their input, it certainly helps since I have no idea what to expect other than what everyone has contributed. I'm offering my email for any networking connections and would love to get any patho notes if somebody would like to share. Would make for some good summer reading lol. Is anyone else having trouble creating the health email ? .. I logged onto the site but where it says external email address , is that our personal email address ? Or the email address we should create that ends with @health.usf.edu

I would disagree with this statement coming from receiving my bachelors from UCF and currently attending usfs program they both do a good job. Both Usf and UCF are great, all schools have flaws but neither is more disorganized than the other.
