USF MSN-CNL non-nurse summer 2017

Hello everyone! I am currently waitlisted in the spring 2017 cohort starting in Jan for the USF MSN-CNL non-nurse cohort 23, but I wanted to start a thread for those of you applying to the summer 2017 semester because if I don't get off the waitlist I will be reapplying for summer, and if I do get off the waitlist I can help you all with info on how the process works and what to expect. Either way, since I am going through it right now, I hope to be able to help new applicants. This time can be very stressful. Who all out there is applying?

Ok, that makes me feel a little bit better. I doubt they would have a long waitlist- probably 3 or 4 people right? It's odd how many of us haven't heard anything yet.

Also, I feel like we would have gotten rejected earlier today. I doubt they're leaving more for tomorrow.

I'm assuming many applicants are not participating in this forum. If they're only taking 32-36 they might have a pretty long waitlist.

@glash I doubt the waitlist will be very long. I am really hoping they still make calls tomorrow and think that they very well might be since they didn't start until later. In any case I hope they notify people soon, this is torture!

The waitlist is long. At least enough people to fill an entire second class so (32-36) people at least.

i received my call from ingrid. also, i checked my app status since the call and it had changed only to "submitted." i don't know when the status changed. at 11am it was unchanged. hope that is helpful to someone...anyone. i was very surprised, i thought the status would update and i'd be anxiously waiting to see if i got a call or a status update with a denial letter.

Hey guys! I've been following this thread for a while now.. thought it's time to introduce myself, lol. My name's Nicole and this is my first time applying for my Masters. I only applied to USF, and for now my status still hasn't changed either. Hoping for good news tomorrow... Good luck everybody, hang in there! And congrats to everyone who has been accepted!

on a side note, what is your military occupation and what branch are you in...? i'm an army brat - no service, myself, but have a great deal of respect for those choosing to serve. thank you for your sacrifice.

One of my microbio classmates said she got the call today from Ingrid at 2:14 about the acceptance. I'm wondering if they completed all the calls today and people just aren't active/don't know about this site. Hopefully we'll hear more tomorrow.

So hard to tell, we will know either tomorrow if they make more calls or possibly end of the week for letters in the mail about waitlist. It could be that all of us who haven't heard are waitlisted, but that would be a strange coinsedance that we are all on this site. I don't think anyone who has not heard is denied, I feel like all the denials went out on the same day of the acceptance calls.
