USF ME-MSN Summer 2021

Hi everyone!! I didn't see a thread here so I'm starting one for the University of San Francisco's (USF) ME-MSN program for non-nurses for the San Francisco campus! The deadline is actually today (1/15/2021) and I was wondering who else applied! Good luck y'all and I hope we all get in together :-))

For those accepted, would I need to be moved to SF by May? They say classes are still online but do clinicals start in the first semester?

Wooohooo! CONGRATULATIONS! Care to share stats? Have you been in contact with the school during the waitlist period? I wonder if there is anything anyone can do to better their chances. Also what did the email say? I wonder if there will be others ??

I wonder if they do acceptance off of the waitlist in rounds? Did they say how many spots they still had available?

So excited that so many people got off the waitlist today! Make sure to join the facebook group so that y’all can communicate with each other and ask questions that some of us students can try to answer. Looking forward to meeting you at orientation!

Hello Alex? Do you know from past cohorts if the school typically gives multiple rounds of waitlist updates?

I’m so sorry, but I don’t know the answer to this. The university doesn’t discuss any admission details. They are pretty quiet when it comes to things like that.

People who were just accepted off the wait list, are all of your prerequisites done? Or are you taking one in progress?

My prereqs are done, but I'm currently taking Statistics to make it more current. I hope you get in too! 

@cap123 I've seen in the old message boards for previous cohorts that they were accepting people from the waitlist right up until the program started, if they had spots to fill.

all pre-req done. I have seen the same and heard from others that have been accepted to this program up to the first day of the program. don't lose hope!!

I really hope so!! Haven't gotten any email. Fingers crossed I make the cut

They said there will be clinicals

possibly the first week of class.
