USF FNP Fall 2020

Hi everyone, I recently applied to the University of South Florida's Fall 2020 FNP program. I didn't see a thread started and would like to hear from anyone else who has applied and share updates on the interview and acceptance process. Best of luck to all of us!

The FNP takes a while to hear back because of the amount of applicants, from what other students in the program told me.

I have been under review since December. I applied in September. This wait is awful!

I never even got an email that says mine is under review so I’m nervous!! Lol

So I applied for the acute care NP for fall start and my application through nursing cas verified on the 7th and they emailed me that my gpa was being calculated and then sent to the college.. since then I haven’t heard anything. I applied before priority deadline but later then most.. kinda nervous.

My app was verified Jan 31st.. Really haven't heard anything else.

I applied for DNP FNP. My application was verified on January 8th, reached out a few times and was told it had not been reviewed yet, heck I outright stopped at the office haha. Sitting here like omg, please review me! I know the Dean of the CON and the program director of the DNP FNP program are both stepping down so maybe that has something to do with it? I’m a current USF SBN student and will graduate in August, I’ve been nervous about not having my License prior to the start as a reason not to get in...they told me it “might not” be an issue...I’m hoping since the priority deadline is passed they’ll start reviewing FNP apps this week ??
