I was looking through the site and realized there was no place for USF Fall '12 applicants. Just wanted to know who was applying and for what program?
Good luck to everyone!
Yay! I got into the second degree program too. Congrats to all who got in. I've been working on those HIPPA modules a little to get a head start and am taking the BLS course next Thursday. So much to do! I was aware of the Orientation/Match Day but the Pre-Immersion Program was news to me. Anyone know what that's about?
WooHoo!!! I got in to the Upper Division program. All morning I was trying to study for Pathophysiology but nerves made me keep checking my email.... then finally when I was on the way to campus the email came. It is such a relief to finally know that I got in.
taytay05- my overall GPA was 3.9 and Pre-reqs GPA was 3.8
Congrats to everyone !
I just got my denial email . Im changing my major to mass communications, I'm sick of being judged by my GPA. The tutor who reviewed my essay said it was one of the best USF nursing entrance essays she's ever read. I was the commencement speaker at my community college, I volunteered, and I wrote a very passionate essay. The nursing field obviously doesn't think Im good enough , so I'll go somewhere I'm actually appreciated .
Please please keep your head up!!! Do not let these rejections into these nursing programs get next to you!!! I understand it works the ego, when you sit and read every one elses perfect teas score and GPA. I know its competitive.
Many of the programs never run the stats as to how many of those same students loose out after the 1st semester. They need to make that stat known. The true reality.
My prayers are with you.
Congrats to everyone who got into their chosen program ! Has anyone that's been accepted into usfs also been offered admission into Ucf's program ?
I was on Ucf's basic bsn's waiting list and I've been waiting for others to give up their spot for other programs so that's why I'm wondering.
