Specializes in Neuro ICU.

I am applying to the BSN to DNP program at USF for fall 2022 admission. I know on the FAQ page, frequent campus visits are mentioned. I am asking old/current/future students who know about this program: how often are campus visits truly required? Especially during the first year or two before clinicals are started.

I am currently in Gainesville, FL and possibly plan to travel nurse during grad school, so I want to know if that is possible during the first few years of a part time curriculum.

Thanks!

I got in for fall 2022 DNP for acute care! I’m also from Gainesville area. Let’s link up!

I’m glad you created this post; I have been accepted into the BSN -DNP(FNP) program as well for the fall

I've heard the first year is pretty much online. I think you go up there for orientation/ welcome in Fall 2022. Which specialty are you doing?

I have just applied to the DNP FNP program for the Fall! But I am currently in an ABSN program and graduate in July so I am hoping for conditional acceptance.

just  applied for the for MSN  acute care part time Track.  From what I learned so far, we are required to attend campus 3 times during the first two semester and everything else is pretty much online. But things might change.

I've just been accepted to BSN-DNP at fiu! can anyone offer any insight/advice about the program? Anything is appreciated

Where do you see notice of your acceptance or rejection? Also after verification, how long did it take for you to get your acceptance letter?

I got an interview invite! I scheduled it for Friday afternoon. Did you guys have to do an interview?

I didn’t really feel like my interview went well, but I’m still holding on to hope. I’ll let you all know if I got in or not.

good luck, keep us updated

Unfortunately I did not get accepted. This was my fourth application to USF. I applied for the traditional BSN program in 2018 and was denied. I also applied for the accelerated program in 2020 and 2021 and was denied both times. Thankfully, I was able to get into to another accelerated nursing program and graduate BSN-RN in July. I do not plan to apply to USF again in the future, but I am grateful for the opportunity I had to try. I will be attending grad school elsewhere for my NP and plan to be the best possible, even if USF couldn’t see it. Good luck to everyone in their endeavors whether it be USF or not.
