Hello!
I just applied for the BS-DNP fall program. I'm currently in their BSN program and will complete my classes right before graduate school starts (if I'm accepted). I'm just wondering who else applied?
Also, for anyone who has been through the process at USF, do you have any tips for me as far as the interview goes? Thank you and best of luck to anyone applying!
They’re still finalizing our classes. But from my current friends in the program they said first semester they only had 1 class in person a week — which was lab. And there are usually 2 different lab times to choose from. I’d say email your advisor and see if they can give you some more information on maybe what day(s) they suspect lab would be on? That way you can give your job a heads up
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had any insight on this program or advice regarding admissions.
I'm a recent graduate from UF's accelerated BSN program and am interested in applying to USF's Oncology concentration DNP. I have a strong, graduate level background in molecular biology and I would have at least 1 year of oncology experience before matriculating.
I did previously attend USF for my degrees prior to making my career change to nursing, so I know a lot about the school but not too much about their nursing programs.
I think what I am nervous about is applying to a DNP program too early despite being urged to apply ASAP. I've had a few friends jump right into DNP programs with no problems, but I'm wondering if that makes it harder to get in.
Thanks!

CONGRATS on your interview! I have my interview scheduled for June 4th. I wonder if we are in the last batch of interviews.
