USF 2014 applicants?

Just wondering if there are any USF applicants out there? I had a couple questions :)

Hi all! I'm also trying to get into the USF summer program. Just wanted to chime in about getting admitted to USF, as I see a few comments. I was finally admitted last Friday, but had submitted my application in August (yes, very early). I called several times to follow up and was told they were just starting to review "summer applications" last week. The day after I called, I was admitted. So for those of you that have not heard anything, you should hopefully know soon. I will say from past experience, I'm not impressed by the admissions office (things getting lost etc.) and word of advice is to keep following up with them.

Hello. I am also applying for USF ABSN Program. I haven't turned in my application yet but I hope that I do not have problems with the Admission Office lol.

I'm so frustrated by the admission office. #1 don't pay fees via check, they lost it. I've called three times, emailed screenshots proving it, etc. the admission office laughs over their email system. They never check it! One employee told me they checked it every 24-48 hours, however I called her out (I sent an email the prior week, which still hasn't been responded) The second employee I talked to told me to deliver a hard copy, and admitted the email system is bad. I also asked them to update my second degree essay twice, which still hasn't been done. I had to mail my screenshots validating my payment, two weeks after I paid. Frustrated. And I submitted everything on the 2nd!

I'm applying for the Summer Upper Division program, I'm so nervous!

Ok I have been calling the admission office and no one ever answers the phone! I submitted my app in oct and it's still pending.. Is anyone else having this issue? Or maybe a different way I can contact the office ?

They are horrible with the phone, don't answer their email, and after calling 3 times about my application they won't update it. You literally have to go to the campus if you want help. It's ridiculous. I'm still pending and I applied in January...but it's only been over a week since they updated my admission fee...

When does the semester start for the program? At hcc the acceptance letter went out 3 months before it started. I know community and university run different but maybe this would give u an idea

Yes ! I have been having MANY issues with the admissions office. It's ridiculous.

It is!! This is why they make the application windows so long. But I'm worried that I'll be missing this deadline!

Same here !! My essay has been finished for about a couple of months now and it would be so upsetting for all the work to go to waste because the admissions committee isn't moving fast enough. There really is no excuse because UCF was able to process everything in two weeks.

Exactly! It looks like I'm gonna apply for the fall too. I was hoping I wouldn't have to. It's ridiculous because I began the application process at the start of the window....on the 2nd. (1st school was closed) and they had a lot of my information already :(
