Anyone applying to USF's (University of South Florida) nursing program?. I feel discouraged because I heard how competitive and rigorous it is.I have a 3.7 GPA. finished about half of my pre-reqs, got A's in all of my science courses. A B in statistics, ethics, and humanities:sarcastic:. I'm currently an ambassador at a community college and volunteering at a hospital. If those aren't good enough to get in the program I don't know what will lol. Is anyone here a USF nursing student? I would love to hear your experiences. I hope I can at least get into USF or my community college. If those fail..then it's off to Rasmussen or technical for me!!
Nursing schools are getting so competitive ! GPA doesn't cut it anymore. So much competition when there are barely any new grad jobs.
I also believe there are places one is meant to be. If something is for you its for you and no one can take it away.
Thanks guys!!! Yeah, it is true.
I wanna meet up with you also guys, but can't do much right now.
Yea, I'm going up there this week to find an apartment. I'm also going to orientation on the 17th. Sounds like everyone's going on that day so I hope to meet you all. I'm going to be in tampa from the 16-19th of July. :)
