USF ABSN Fall 2023

Hi everyone, I wanted to start a thread of people applying to USF's ABSN program in St. Pete this fall because I haven't seen any-- I am finishing 2 classes right now and have 1 more this Summer that will be my "in progress" class. I am cutting it close to deadlines, anyone else in that boat as well?

Has anyone received a follow up email yet with important dates? She told me there would be one but I haven't received it yet.

Hmm I don't remember... but I did email them checking because there's dates I wanted to travel. There's just orientation on July 28th and then August 21st is the first day of classes. Those are mandatory, and optionally there is a white coat ceremony on June 20th.

Yes I got an email with important dates- it said they sent it to everyone who applied .

Just completed my interview. I was very nervous, but the interviewer made me feel comfortable. Fingers crossed ??

OMG y'all disregard my last post I thought this was a UNF post when I got the allnurses email notification ? I had been getting updates on one of those. Ahh sorry! ?

Do we have to complete the civics literacy test? Isn't the civics literacy test for first time college students?

@TMC usually the civics Liberty test is if you didn't take an American history course (or something similar). Most people have taken a qualifying course if they already have a BS/BA. Not super sure for USF though so definitely check with someone ??

I prefer USF, mostly cus it's a /little/ closer to my home. But after getting waitlisted from UCF for the Summer semester, honestly idc that much where I go. Just want to get in somewhere ? I know some people didn't get into public universities and opted to go to private ? that tuition...!
