USF ABSN Fall 2022

ABSN applications are open for FALL. Has anyone applied yet?

Was it an email? Did you find out through the NursingCAS? I finished it on the 16th of April but my final Pre-reqs transcripts were submitted a week ago.

It was an email with dates and times for an interview. Did you submit your application to the school? It took around 7 weeks to hear back about the transfer admission. I am sure you will get an email soon.

I did submit it to the school. Says verified under "Check Status" on nursingCAS. I'm anxious, excited, nervous, ready to puke LOL...so I constantly check both personal and USF's email just in case. I hope you rock your interview!!!

How long did everyone wait to hear back for the actual ABSN program?

I applied to and I am still waiting to hear a response! The application does close today so they should be sending out interview invites soon.

May I ask what your GPA is?

May I ask what your GPA is?

I am sure you will get a response very soon because they are interviewing all throughout June! My GPA is a 3.89, and my pre-req GPA is also a 3.8. Best of luck to you, and I hope we are accepted!

My NursingCas application just turned verified on 05/26 and I was admitted into USF on 05/27. I meet the minimum requirements so I hope I get an invite for the interview. My overall and pre req GPA is only 3.2 so I’m not that strong of a candidate, fingers crossed though!

Hello to everyone,

I applied last second but I am hoping to get into USF (GPA: ~3.7). NursingCas was verified on June 1. I am not sure how competitive I am compared to others, but I did get into JU. In all honesty, I was planning to go elsewhere until I read up on how expensive that school was from another user on this forum. It awesome how friendly and open people are here. If anyone is interested and if they feel comfortable to share their GPA it could be beneficial for everyone so they can prioritize their efforts but no pressure. ?

Does anyone know how much the accelerated nursing program costs? What I’m finding online is confusing.
