Honestly...my GPA is a 3.3, act I think was a 24 and cant remember my sat score. I was very shocked I was offered a deferment because I've heard of students with 3.8, 3.9 getting denied. I think what really helped me was the interview, I was true and genuine, nothing robotic or reheorificed. Good luck!

I was recently accepted to USF's ABSN program (FL) and being that I need to move, I was curious to know what an accelerated program may be like. I've heard stories that they're very time consuming which I was expecting considering its a 16-month program. However, is it an 8am-8pm kind of thing being in classes/clinicals or is it 4 days out of the week or something along those lines. I'm trying to see if I can squeeze serving in there somehow considering I will be funding everything myself. Thanks!

I applied to the Fall program at st pete but got deffered to Spring in sarasota so good luck to you guys! Cant wait to study with you guys ?

Update: received an email saying that all st Pete students had accepted their offer, however, they offered me a deferred admission to the Spring cohort in Sarasota. For anyone else who received that email, are you guys accepting or denying?

No nothing yet ? I’m really hoping I can LOL but even if I do I think it’s absurd that you’ll hear back no later than aug 15th. And the program starts the 22nd? There’s literally no time in between

Is anyone else anxious and ready to puke??? ? I’ve been on my email since midnight. I really hope we find out today.

Does anyone know what the schedule might be like the first semester? Will it be a Monday through Friday kind of thing or would that be more towards clinicals? Trying to figure out when I should move since it’s a commutable distance ?

okay so I just had my interview, they asked mostly why I wanted to be a nurse, ethical dilemmas, and other general questions. Honestly, I think a bombed it ? but it wasn’t as bad as I was making it seem in my head. She was super sweet, take a deep breath, and like everyone else said act as if a friend was asking you the questions. Those 20 minutes go by fast trust me. We finished at the 19 minute mark.

I interview Wednesday at 9…so if you don’t mind giving us some insight on how it went and what questions they asked (doesn’t have to be specific if you don’t want to share that) but at least so we all have a general idea of what to study for. Good luck!

I did submit it to the school. Says verified under "Check Status" on nursingCAS. I'm anxious, excited, nervous, ready to puke LOL...so I constantly check both personal and USF's email just in case. I hope you rock your interview!!!

Was it an email? Did you find out through the NursingCAS? I finished it on the 16th of April but my final Pre-reqs transcripts were submitted a week ago.

I also graduated in 2020 with a bachelors in Health Science and applied for the Fall St.Pete program...I AM SO NERVOUS agh. Does anyone know when we will start finding out? I keep looking at my email and NursingCAS like a madman. woops....this says 2021 LOL got too excited
