   Hey!! I applied to UMass Amherst because I live in Massachusetts and it was my top school (I just got my acceptance) BUT the living cost is so expensive here and we miss Florida SOO much. Both my boyfriend and I think our quality of life will be better in Tampa especially with such a grueling accelerated program. Only problem is UMass gave me my decision two weeks ago for august start date and yet USF doesn’t even open until like May so that overlap is really hard to make decisions. I’m putting a deposit down for UMass and just losing it if I get into USF and end up going

   I am so sorry to hear! I had a similar experience where I wasn’t sure they would accept my Social Science statistics and I sent in a pre-req approval form in the Summer, and never heard back. I sent three emails before Ms. Jones finally got back to me and unfortunately hit a brick wall ahead with that 😞 it was clear that the program is really overwhelmed with all of the interest which is definitely a good thing but also can have a downside when needing resources. So, I just took the chance and prayed they accepted it and indeed they did because I got accepted. I would of been so devastated if that had led to my denial to the program. Good luck and don’t give up

   Wanted to start a forum for anyone applying to the USF ABSN at the St. Pete campus for Fall! I wanted to apply to the Tampa main campus but the turnaround time is super quick and starting in May seems a bit hectic for me so I decided to apply to St. Pete for the fall start date. I am super excited 🙂 I graduated from USF with a bachelors in 2020 so I know its an amazing school and the campus is a dreaaammm

   For context, I got accepted and graduated undergrad with poli sci 3.5 GPA and had a 3.9 pre req GPA. I have been a lifeguard for 7 years every Summer, a PCA for 5 years and I also am an anonymous egg donor that inspired me the most to speak about. I have a lot of volunteer experience, including ER bereavement volunteer and working as a court appointed advocate for kids in the judicial system. My sister in law got in after her second cycle applying with an undergrad in biology and retail experience! Don’t give up you guys and just apply again if you don’t get in this round ❤️

   Hello everyone! I recently received my acceptance to UMass Amherst ABSN program but I have to put a deposit down by March 5th. I also am highly considering University of South Florida ABSN program, but their application doesn’t open till May for the same start date!! I graduated USF with a bachelors in political science, and living in Tampa, FL is immensely cheaper and my boyfriend and I want to buy a house down there. Living and commuting an hour to UMass Amherst is going to be so challenging. does anyone know what program is essentially “better”??? I’m really stuck in the middle now, any advice would be greatly appreciate ❤️
