I'm sorry as I do not know how to answer your question sir. I'm still currently here in the Philippines
What? Why did you file for I-485 if you are still in the Philippines. For I know I-485 is for those worker currently working in the US who are petitioned to an immigrant. Such as H1B (working visa) to immigrant or greencard holder.
For those who are not yet in the US (outside USA) consular processing is done.
so that means in my case it will be consular processing?.... as far as i know my lawyer files the i-140 and i485 together....Am i right to say that since the i485 is approved, i can be able to work in the US, provided that I do the consular processing?
If you are in the US and concurrently filed I-140 and I-485 (Adjustment of Status or AOS) you can work legally with your employer while your application is in progress. Once your I-485 is approved you are required to personally appear at USCIS and one thing that you will bring with you is the approved I-140.
For consular processing, after your I-140 was approved you are required to submit DS-230 form at National Visa Center. When your PD is current, your case will be processed and if your are lucky you will be given an immigrant visa in order for you to enter US.
Ask your lawyer regarding your case (ask him to thoroughly explain it to you) and the steps that you should do.
Good luck.

Do you know what that means guys? and I also checked it on the website and this is what I got:
Document production or Oath Ceremony
On March 10, 2009 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a green card) or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, refugee travel documents or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application.
Does anyone know what these means?
Thanks you!
