USC Versant New Grad RN Residency Program April 2023

Published

Hi,

I applied for USC's new grad program when it opened yesterday (1/9/23). Within several hours my application changed from 'under review' to 'under consideration'. For those who currently work there or have been through the process, when is the approximate time their hiring team would get back to you?

Thank you and Happy New Year!

Hi everyone! I had my interview last week (2/10), and I haven't heard back yet. I was wondering how long will it take to hear back, and if anyone has heard back yet? Thanks!

Hi!
what unit did you interview with?

I interviewed for 5E. I actually got a call back and I didn't get the job unfortunately. But they let me choose another unit to interview in!

Hello!
I was wondering how your interview went? Did they only focus on behavioral questions or did they also throw in some clinical questions in there?

I believe we get our decisions by the end of this week. I applied for 6E/W stepdown tele,  anyone else? And good luck!

First interview was good, and it was definitely more personal. Second one was more scenario based, that one wasn't as good ? but it was also last minute so I didn't have as much time to prepare

I actually got an offer today :) Does anyone here know more about the 2 year commitment? Do we have to stay in the unit for 2 years, or do we have to stay in the hospital itself for at least 2 years (and we can switch units)? Thanks!

You have to stay in the unit for at least 6 months before switching to a different unit.
