Awesome! Did either of y'all attend the Zoom info session in June? The shadow requirement is either a shadow or an interview with an anesthesia provider this year, is that right? This is my second year applying - just want to make sure I have it all straight.

I will be as well. And yes you are correct about the shadowing, it can be an interview.

If you don't mind me asking, what improvements did you do to your resume to make a stronger applicant this year?

Ah thanks so much for confirming!

My issue last year were some undergraduate science classes I hadn't done very well in. I've been working since January to retake those classes in hopes of a better outcome this year.

Best of luck to you! Perseverance and hard work are essential to being successful, and I do not doubt that you will get there! Are you applying to other schools?

I would love to get into a school here in LA, but USC is too expensive! It is not my priority school only because of the high bill. 160K I believe. I am still applying, though, as a backup.

I have a couple of questions for you if you dint mind.

Last year, when did you submit your application? Were you able to get an interview?

I'm applying to one other school for sure and I've been looking for 1-2 others but USC is my first choice honestly! I'm just so impressed by the school itself and the program and the people I've spoken with there. Definitely get the expense aspect of it though. Are you keeping your applications to CA or elsewhere?

I submitted close to the deadline last year and I did not get an interview, but those things weren't related.

Gotcha, yes I was impressed as well after listening to the information session!

Gotcha, thanks for your response.

I am actually currently living in LA but I am from Texas. So I applied to UTH Cizik (my top choice) and hoping to go there! Simply because it's so inexpensive to buy a house there and tuition is only 50K. I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket, however, so I am applying to the two schools here in LA! & Wesleyan in Dallas.

I'm also from Texas and have a friend who graduated from Wesleyan in December! Best of luck to you!! We've got this!

We may be classmates! best of luck to you!

I am applying as well!!  Best of luck to everyone!!
