  1. I'm thinking this week...the latest next week
  2. just gotta keep dreaming for a couple more weeks ?
  3. Yea, that's what they said...3 weeks....I'm surprised it'll take so long. The program director and faculty was nice and so were the other applicants I saw. I'll be lucky to get into a great school if I get accepted.
  4. Hey Kampersand, Could you comment on the facilities/school of both campuses? I'm just assuming that Columbia would have better clinical sites because it's in the capital and also cause it's more central than Greenville - is this true?
  5. All I know is Columbia is the capital and I believe where the school started so it should have more facilities etc., while Greenville is more to the west.
  6. Which campus is everyone choosing if they get in? I like Columbia..
  7. So I'm guessing this will be the last master's program for anesthesia at UofSC?
  8. Hey all...I'm also interviewing this week for Albany as an alternate. Any information from the guys/girls that have been accepted regarding what the interview was like would be much appreciated.
  9. Yea, I just got an email from Dr. LeBlanc about it...didn't inquire or anything. They should be offering it to everyone I would think - you should get an email about it soon. Btw, they probably are still sifting through the applications for more interviews. To those who haven't gotten any interview yet.....just be optimistic..
  10. Got an email from Dr. LeBlanc about practice interviews in May with the Webex videoconference. Really good idea. I have another interview this month with another school via webconference and no practice session - guess we're just gonna wing it.
  11. It was very laid back. I think all the interviews at CRNA schools have the 2nd and third years talk with the interviewees about the program just like at this school. The faculty didn't ask any direct clinical questions - just to describe your background, what are your weaknesses, why you're choosing this school to apply to, what challenges have you overcome, basic interview questions for a hospital. It was more of a get to know you kind of interview rather than asking about vasopressors or what to do if a patient is septic. Of course there was also a tour of the anesthesia lab simulator, which was impressive and of the campus. The best part of the interview process was definitely asking the upperclassmen about the program when it was just us without the faculty. They explained what their clinical were like, going to different clinical sites, how they paid for the program, how to do well in class, getting a job after - they were very open about the program and helpful.
  12. Maybe they're still giving out interviews. You could always apply at Medical University of SC if you really wanna go to a school in South Carolina.
  13. Hey RntoNPtoRN - I saw your stats on another discussion forum...pretty impressive - have you gotten already in other programs or interviewed? I applied to about 5 programs, got interview at 1 in the midwest and waitlisted there. I'm gonna apply to a few more programs. Anybody else wanna share how their apps/interviews went?
  14. Has anyone else got interviews recently? Does anyone know how many are interviewing?
